Structures built to last
“Strahl dryers are designed to ensure long-lasting performance even under the most extreme operating conditions. The load-bearing frame is made of robust hot-dip galvanized structural steel, while the panels are made of steel coated with Aluzinc or Zinc Magnesium to increase resistance to intensive use and weathering.
Externally, the panels are designed with folds that channel rainwater away, minimizing stagnation; internally, they are smooth and aligned flush to prevent dust accumulation inside the drying chamber. The base frame is designed for installation on an anti-seismic reinforced concrete slab, ensuring stability and safety even in the event of seismic activity, in compliance with international standards.”
Protection for the environment and for operators
Handling cereals during the drying process generates a significant amount of dust. To contain emissions, our stationary dryers feature specific solutions:
- Product handling takes place over very short periods of time in order to limit dust dispersion during loading and unloading.
- Airflow is interrupted during phases with the greatest product movement, when dust is most likely to form, in order to reduce its dispersion.
- The suction system includes an optional device that captures dust, concentrates it, and conveys it to collection systems before it is released into the air.
