Stationary dryers

Sturdy structures and avant-garde technology for systems that are made to last
The ideal solution for the treatment of grain, legumes and foodstuffs in a controlled and uniform manner, with both continuous and batch solutions

Our range of stationary dryers has been studied to respond to the demands of clients processing a diverse range of products. Their construction guarantees extensive flexibility and the utmost precision in process control, adapting to the specific characteristics of a wide range of produce. Their modular design allows the load capacity to be adapted to the individual needs of each business, while the study architecture of the structure and the quality of the materials and assembly processes allows our dryers to maintain constant performance over time, making the most of our clients’ investment.

Structures that are built to last

Strahl dryers have been designed for lasting performance, even in the most extreme conditions. The support structure is made in sturdy hot-dip galvanised steel. The panels are made in steel coated in Aluzinc or Zinc Magnesium to increase resistance to conditions of use and to the elements. Externally, they have been designed with guttering to channel rainwater, while inside, they are smooth and fitted without any overlapping, avoiding the harmful accumulation of dust within the drying chamber. The base can be installed on an earthquake-proof reinforced concrete podium to provide stability and safety even in the event of seismic activity, as is required by international regulations.

Protection for the environment and for operators

The movement of grain during the drying process generates a considerable amount of dust. When released into the air, this poses a hazard for the health of operators and for the environment, and also constitutes a serious fire hazard inside the dryers. Our stationary dryers adopt specific solutions to reduce emissions:

  • produce is handled in highly concentrated periods of time in order to limit the spread of dust during loading/unloading procedures.
  • the airflow is interrupted during the main phases of product handling, when the creation of dust is most likely, in order to reduce its spreading.
  • the air intake system has an optional device that captures dust, concentrates it and channels it towards collection systems before it has a chance to be released into the air.
