Strahl has been producing grain dryers since 1966.
From Villorba, in Treviso, where it was founded and where it maintains its operational and production roots, Strahl has, over time, become a global leader in the sector, with thousands of dryers produced and dozens of markets served the world over.

Its capacity for innovation, customisation, reliability and meticulous attention to after-sales service are the factors that have allowed the company to build a solid international reputation; Strahl is now the European leader in the grain dryers sector, with more than 80% of production destined for the foreign market and ceaseless expansion towards new markets.
The recent acquisition of the mobile dryer brand Agrimec, which has been integrated into the company structure, has allowed Strahl to further implement a complete and flexible product portfolio.

Strahl constantly invests in digital innovation and ecologically sustainable research, drawing on the most advanced tools in terms of agricultural technology.

Timeline

1952

Strahl was founded as the Officine Minute in Villorba, in the province of Treviso, Italy. Officine Minute manufactured burners for civil use, which quickly transformed into hot-air generators and then into burners for drying tobacco.

1966

The company began manufacturing large-scale grain dryers. This activity gradually overtook the previous manufacturing lines, and opened the company to international markets.

1968

In Grisignano di Zocco, Vicenza, the Forestan brothers founded ESFOR, which quickly became Italy’s leading manufacturer of mobile dryers and grain silos.

Officine Minute created the STRAHL trademark to identify the production of dryers.

1985

Part of the Forestan family founded AGRIMEC, which competes with ESFOR in the mobile dryer sector.

2000

Agrimec acquires Esfor. From now on, mobile dryers sell products under the Agrimec logo.

2022

Officine Minute merges with Agrimec in order to become the international reference in stationary and mobile grain drying. The company takes the name Strahl: a single large production company that makes experience and reliability its distinctive value.

Strahl became a part of Perdieci, an Italian holding specialised in
manufacturing, with which it shares its vision, investments and managerial know-how.
